New update to Skype for Linux Alpha brings hostless group calling

Microsoft has started rolling out a new update to the Skype for Linux Alpha app. The update bumps the app to version 1.12, and brings along a hostless group calling feature, some improvements, as well as general bug fixes. With hostless group calling, it's possible to continue with a group call even if the person who initiated it leaves the group mid-way. As for improvements, the authentication process has been improved "with switch to Microsoft Account options." There are some performance improvements as well. Via
