Asus wants to make a big splash in the mobile world this year, according to a Chinese-language Apple Daily report, citing company CEO Jerry Shen. While Asus shipped around 20 million smartphones in 2016, its goal for 2017 is to move 35-40 million units. If the 40 million phones shipped best case scenario becomes reality, then Asus will effectively have doubled its sales year-on-year, which would be an amazing feat.
