Google is retiring older versions of many Google mobile apps on April 3

Google's default application suite is currently the centerpiece of productivity tasks on many mobile devices, both Android and iOS. Apparently, the web giant has reached some kind of major cut-off point in the development of many of its apps and is now planning to retire and stop supporting older versions.
