The Sony SmartWatch 3 was not on the Android Wear 2.0 update list and the reason was easy to guess. Now you can hear it from the horse's mouth - Sony's latest (or should that be last?) smartwatch will remain on version 1.5. *** SmartWatch 3 SWR50 supports up to Android Wear 1.5. Android Wear 2.0 and onwards are not supported. Yep, always read the fine print. To be fair, the watch launched in early 2014, while all the watches on the update list are from 2015.
