LG has filed trademark applications for the names LG G6 Compact, G6 Lite and a number of others. This isn't that unusual - last year we had the G5 ‘Lite', later redubbed LG G5 SE. The ‘Compact' model is a bit of a surprise, though. LG did make the V34, a V20 mini of sorts, but that was exclusive to Japan so don't count on worldwide availability. Still, unlike the SE model, this brought the full power of the flagship into a compact form factor, something the Android world desperately needs.
