Two WP8.1-running K-Touch phones announced

In WP-land the Lumia line has over 95% market share, but Microsoft has as many as 30 partners that are making Windows Phone handsets and one of them is K-Touch. The company unveiled two new devices with the catchy names K-Touch 5705A (mid-range model) and the K-Touch 5703A (an entry-level model). K-Touch 5705A This model has a 5" IPS LCD with 720p resolution (that's 294ppi) and dual-SIM, dual-standby connectivity. It runs Windows Phone 8.1 on a Snapdragon 200 chipset (quad-core processor at 1.2GHz) with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage, expandable via microSD cards. With an 8MP main camera and a 2MP front-facing shooter, it won't quite challenge the Lumia 830 or the Lumia 730 for dominance. Anyway, the 1,950mAh battery promises up to 10 hours of talk time. The first SIM slot accepts microSIMs, while the second slot uses the bigger miniSIM format. The K-Touch 5705A tops out at 3G connectivity. K-Touch 5703A This one is closer to the Lumia 630 with a 4.5" IPS LCD with 480 x 854px resolution (221ppi). The specs claim ClearBlack, though that's a trademark of Nokia so we're suspicious about this one. Anyway, the K-Touch 5703A is powered by the same Snapdragon 200 chipset, but only has 512MB of RAM. Storage is the same at 8GB with an expansion slot. The 5MP camera on the back is good for 720p video. Both K-Touch phones are expected to launch in China in the next few weeks. Note that these are basically identical to the BLU Win HD and BLU Win Jr....
