Sharp has announced the Aquos Xx3 mini smartphone in Japan. The unfortunately named device is otherwise pretty interestingly specced and is likely to entice compact phone fans. For starters, it has a 4.7-inch FullHD IGZO display which makes for a 469ppi density, while the Sony Xperia X Compact sticks with 720p resolution on its 4.6-inch diagonal, hence 319ppi. Internal storage is 16GB, but there's a microSD slot for when that inevitably gets filled up....
