The HTC Desire 601, formerly known only by its codename Zara, was announced earlier this month. It is a new mid-range device by the Taiwanese company, bound to launch in October throughout markets in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. But according to rumors, HTC will eventually bring the Desire 601 to the US as well, possibly via Sprint – the nation's third largest carrier.
